Commands
Below are some commands that you might find useful when on the ScoutLink network.
IRC
Command | Description |
---|
/list | This will give you a list of all the channels you will be able to join. |
/join | Use this command to join a channel, e.g. /join #help |
/part | This will leave the channel you are currently in. |
/quit | This will disconnect you from the whole network, including all channels you are in. |
/msg nickserv help | This command will bring show you a list of NickServ commands. NickServ is a service that manages nicks. Most clients will allow you to shorten the '/msg nickserv' part to '/ns'. |
/nick | This allows you to change your nick, e.g. /nick John |
/me | This commands displays the following text as an action, e.g. '/me needs a drink' would show as 'John needs a drink'. |
Minecraft
General
Command | Description |

/help | See all commands available for you. |
/hub | Teleports you to the hub/spawn. |
/survival | Teleports you to the survival world. |
/creative | Teleports you to the creative world. |
/warp | Shows preset locations that you can teleports to. |
/back | Takes you to your last location. |
/tpa | Asks the player if you can teleport to them. |
Survival
Command | Description |

/home | Teleports you to where you placed your bed, |
/recipe | Displays how to craft items. Look at http://www.minecraftinfo.com/idlist.htm for ID. |
/claim | Claim a 11x11 block square you can build in. |
/subdivideclaims | Switches your piece of coal to subdivision mode, so you can subdivide your claims. |
/abandonclaim | Deletes the claim you're standing in. |
/AbandonAllClaims | Deletes all of your claims. |
/trust | Gives another scout permission to edit in your claim. |
/untrust | Revokes any permissions granted to a scout in your claim. |
/accesstrust | Gives a scout permission to use your buttons, levers, and beds. |
/containertrust | Gives a scout permission to use your buttons, levers, beds, crafting gear, containers, and animals. |
/untrust all | Removes all permissions for all scouts in your claim. |
/trustlist | Lists the permissions for the claim you're standing in. |
Creative
Command | Description |

/pweather | Change the weather for yourself. Only works in creative world. |
/ptime | Change the playtime for yourself. Only works in creative world. |
/plot claim | Claim a plot you can build on. |
/plot merge | Merge claimed plots into a bigger plot. Ask a team member if you need help with this. |
/plot clear | Clear the plot you're standing in. |
/plot delete | Unclaims/deletes a plot you're standing in. |
/plot home | Teleports you to your plot. |
/plot set home | Set the plot home to your location. |
/plot set biome | Set the biome for the plot you're standing in. |
//pos1 | Set selection position #1 to the block above the one that you are standing on. |
//pos2 | Set selection position #2 to the block above the one that you are standing on. |
//hpos1 | Set selection #1 to the block that you are looking at. |
//hpos2 | Set selection position #2 to the block that you are looking at. |
//expand | Expands the selection in the direction that you are looking. |
//contract | Contracts the selection in the direction that you are looking. |
//set | Set all blocks inside the selection region to a specified block. Look at http://www.minecraftinfo.com/idlist.htm for ID. |
//replace | Replace all blocks of the specified block(s) with another block inside the region. |
//copy | Copies the currently selected region. Be aware that it stores your position relative to the selection when copying. |
//paste | Pastes the clipboard. |
//rotate | Rotate the clipboard. |
//flip | Flip the clipboard. |
//move | Move the selection's contents. A block can be specified to fill in the left over area. |
//undo | Undoes the last action. |
//redo | Redoes the last action (from history). |
//size | Get information about the selection. |
//wand | Get the wand you can use to select your area. Right click and left click. |
/id | Shows the ID of the block you are holding. Can also show the ID of an item you specify, e.g. /id stone |
