The number netsplit.org measures is again smaller (their bot only vists us every X Minutes)

There are several Servers during JOTI you can use. We recommend to use one of our RoundRobins (you get connected to a Server out of a big list automatically). Servers with a 't' as last character in their countrycode a temporary and will only be available during JOTI. Here is always only a short name shown. The full address of de04 would be de04.scoutlink.net

Servers in Germany

Just counted the Servers we have online for IRC right now. We have right now 22 machines online (24 Are in our up to date list).
I'm going to publish a list of all machines this week so you could select one near you.

So we are quite confident to handle the load during JOTI. We are currently working on a statistics System, maybe we are able to finish it before JOTI so that we can give you nice graphs :)

As every year registration during JOTI will be handled through jotajoti.org.

What does this mean for you?

You can no more register Nicks via the "/nickserv register" command. If you  need to register an nick you have to do so via jotajoti.org

All users that are currently registered at ScoutLink do not need to reregister. Their data ist already in the Website.

Every user that registers on the website also will be automatically registered at Nickserv.
